Which process is right for me?

The right fit can be decided based on a few factors.

Scale of Production (e.g. # of People): This one is simple-- the FastTrack is designed for one person to be featured in one video. If you need multiple people in a video, which is sometimes a great idea that we do well, you'll need to be on the Interactive process and willing to pay extra per person, we can't do it on the FastTrack. There's a lot of logistical reasons, but in simple terms of price, multi-person unscripted videos generate a lot more footage and it's exponentially more time & labor in the editing process.

Budget: Obviously, the FastTrack is quite a bit cheaper. A lot of companies simply don't have room in the budget to spend the time and money on the fully Interactive SunPop production process, which is why we developed the FastTrack option in the first place. The whole point of the FastTrack is to reach a similar end product, yet still save money by leveraging SunPop's experience and track record hitting the mark each time they're up to bat. There is a trade-off, however, when you choose the more affordably priced FastTrack process, which brings us to discussing Level of Control...

Level of Control: The primary difference between the efficiency-first approach to the Fast-Track and the slow-it-down approach to the Interactive process boils down to how much control you have over the editing process from start to finish. In the FastTrack, SunPop is going to pay attention to what we're hearing and seeing from you leading up to and including the shoot, but when it comes time to edit we're going to move straight to a finished product and only include one specific opportunity upon delivery for you to request editing changes (the 24 hour window). Any requests beyond that window will switch to an hourly rate and cost more ($120 per studio hour), just like you would get with a typical hourly production studio.

The Interactive Process affords you noticeably more involvement and control over the editing of your production (though it will also take longer). In the Interactive process, after the shoot we'll first produce a rough draft of your video's message, and we'll present you with a thorough written synopsis of how we got to the message that we produced, justifying the editing decisions that were made. This opens the door for you to engage in refining the message before we get any further into the production, and we won't move on to the next stage until you give us the thumbs on the content of the spoken message. Once we've achieved that, then we'll move on to the polishing phase, and after we've refined the visuals and implemented the graphics, music, etc., then we'll present it to you again, this time asking you to consider all the visual elements and polish. Again, you'll have an opportunity to ask for changes to the polish until it's just right (Note: when we're talking about graphics, we're usually talking about the simple & clean titles that come in at the beginning and end of the video. We're not talking about full-blown 3D cartoons or Jurassic Park special effects here; that's a different type of studio & production).

In short, there's strict time limits and a single opportunity for feedback on the editing of the FastTrack, whereas in an Interactive process, we're not going to switch to an hourly rate if you ask for a second or third round of tweaks, that's already included in the price and timeline of your production.
