What's a "rough cut"?

A "rough cut" is simply a rough draft version of the video that is viewable via a private link. Interactive process clients view this rough cut as part of the more involved back-and-forth editing process. FastTrack clients skip the rough cut stage altogether. Along with the rough cut, you will also receive a synopsis of the editing decisions that were made, and the reasons why they were made.

The rough cut is based on all of the mutual guidance we've developed since the first step of the process, so we can confidently target your video to explore the themes you most want to communicate. If needed, this is the point where we open up the process for additional suggestions or insights that you may have.
