How much does a SunPop Video cost?

The FastTrack Process costs a flat rate of $1,995 to feature one person in a 2-4 minute video. This pricepoint includes everything necessary to produce the video, titles, music beds, logos, contact information, and a call to action at the end. Note that on the FastTrack, you primarily have a single window of time to request any changes to your video, that's the 24 hour free window after we deliver a finished product. This is perfect for most FastTrack clients. If you want more changes beyond that 24 hour window, then we switch to hourly billing (more like a typical production studio), and we'll continue working at $120 per studio hour.

FastTrack Process videos can only feature one person, if you want to put more people into a video it has to go on the Interactive Process.

The Interactive Process costs a flat rate of $3,750 to feature one person in a 2-4 minute video. This pricepoint includes everything necessary to produce the video, titles, music bed, logos, contact information, and a call to action at the end. Unlike the FastTrack, the Interactive process costs more primarily because it provides more opportunity and extended timelines for client directing and tweaking throughout the production. There is no "24 hour window" in the Interactive, we expect a few changes (included in the price) leading up to the finished product.

Adding an additional person to the video, up to a total of 4 people, costs $750 per each additional person.

For more information on the different between these two prices and production types, check out our Process Page or this FAQ question.

If you have pre-existing footage (B-roll) you'd like us to add on top of a normal SunPop video, we can usually accommodate that, but you should know it's not part of a standard production and will cost a little more.

We also offer payment plans as an option for our clients.

A couple tips when you're shopping around:

  • Look to see if competing studios include the costs associated with script-writing and message development in their price quote. Often you'll have to hire somebody to write copy in addition to the video production costs.
  • Pay close attention to whether they leave themselves room to increase your final cost above the original estimate for reasons of "extra labor" and other such tactics.

You'd be surprised how often "lower" quotes from other studios end up costing a lot more than they were supposed to because studios try to hook you with an unrealistic lowball estimate.
