If I want a shorter video will it cost less money?

That's unlikely. The SunPop process really is different from most studios. Typically, longer videos require longer scripts, more time in the studio to record each scene, more editing time, etc. Think of a traditional production as building a sandcastle and packing more and more on to go bigger.

SunPop, on the other hand, starts with a full-length conversation, unscripted, and then it's our job to cut that conversation down and edit it to the most concise and compelling story possible. We're starting with a huge block of marble and chiseling it down to a beautiful small sculpture. If we start with an hour of footage, it takes us MORE editing time to trim that hour down to a shorter video-- in other words we could spit out a 30 minute version quite easily, but creating a 2 minute version takes a lot of work! That's why shorter videos are often harder, and thus not any cheaper...
