Why have a flat rate, why not an hourly rate like most studios?

Most studios have to charge by the hour because they only have a vague idea of how long a production will take, and what their costs will be. That's why so many studios provide unrealistically low estimates when providing an initial estimate.

We know exactly how long it's going to take, what needs to be accomplished, and how to accomplish it. We treat our prices as firm commitments rather than fuzzy estimates. Our clients tend to like that.
