Why aren't other studios doing unscripted shoots?

"Unscripted" doesn't mean you just have to wing it!

It would be silly to expect regular people to deliver great footage without anything at all to lean on. That's like an untrained acrobat working without a net! There's a reason most studios use scripts. It takes less technique. A mediocre crew can at least get something relying on scripts, even if it's cheesy. But viewers can tell the difference between scripted and natural. So why doesn't every studio do this? Obviously, it doesn't work for them. Humility aside, it takes a special studio and a closely-guarded process that's been honed for years to stay on message and invisibly support you enough to make this work, and be easy for you.

Seriously, a considerable number of our previous clients admit to us that they saw our website months ago and tried to produce an unscripted "SunPop style" video with their local video crew, only to be so disappointed with the results that they scrapped the whole thing, bit the bullet, and flew to SunPop.

Simply put, this process has been painstakingly designed from the ground up to make your time in the studio a lot easier than a typical shoot.  It absolutely requires a lot more technique and effort on our part to make it almost effortless for you, but we're confident that the results are worth it.
